"... and the home of the brave."

The Society of Orpheus and Baccus, Yale’s men’s non-senior a cappella group, just delivered a wonderful rendition of the national anthem, and Chief Petty Officer Eric Lally, who just returned from a tour in Iraq, and Chief Petty Officer Elton Shaw, just threw out the first pitch.

Lally and Shaw are members of the U.S. Military Baseball All-Star Team. They took batting practice with the Rays this morning.

There are more than 100 people still in the ticket line outside the stadium.
Rays owner Stuart Sternberg is in the house.

Lally and Shaw just brought the Rays lineup card out to the umpires.
We’re almost ready to go.
