Rays go 1-2-3 in first

The game is one inning old and there are still more than 100 people outside the stadium waiting to buy tickets.

Here’s what they missed so far.

Edwin Jackson worked a 1-2-3 first inning.

The Rays loaded the bases with no out in the first when Elliot Johnson and Ben Zobrist opened with consecutive singles and B.J. Upton drew a walk.

But Jonny Gomes bounced into a 1-2-3 double play, that’s pitcher to home to first.
You don’t see that very often.
