Rays, rain win

The white tarp covers the infield and Neil Diamond is playing over the PA system. That can only mean one thing.

Today’s game has been halted by rain.

It’s official: Rays 6, Phillies 4.

This is going to hurt the Rays pitching, which is already backed up from Tuesday’s rain-shortened affair. As a result, the Rays and Phillies will play an addition three to four innings Friday at Al Lang Field after their regularly scheduled nine-inning affair.

I hope you are dry where ever you are.

I’ll see you Friday.

Phillies at Rays. First pitch is 1:05 p.m.

Last pitch? Who knows.

This is Roger Mooney saying good day and good baseball.
