Ring the bell, Tigers go in order in the third

Shields seems to have found his groove. He strikes out Granderson on three pitches to start the third inning.

The clouds are gone and the haze has burned off. The sun is out and the park is full, and full of mostly Tiger fans. I see fans wearing Tiger jerseys with he names Kaline, Trammel and Granderson on the back.

The “Cowbell Kid” is here for the Rays, and if aren’t familiar with his name, you should be familiar with his big, blue wig and the cowbells he clangs throughout games at the Trop. He usually sits in right field under the video board. There are no sets in right field here at the Lang, so he is sitting behind home plate, where I’m sure his bells annoy no one.

Shields sets the Tigers down in order.
