Dioner Navarro pinch hits in the fifth, and gets a warm ovation from Rays fans, surprised to see a starter enter a spring training game midway through. But hey - he made the trip, may as well have some fun.
Navarro walks.
Meanwhile, B.J. Upton appears to be trying his best to get picked off second base for the second time today. But Pirate pitcher John Van Benschoten won't cooperate, throwing late to second on two occasions.
Evan Longoria pops out, leaving runners on the corners, and the Rays lead stays at 4-1.
