Where's the defense?

Mitch Talbot works the eighth for the Rays and is undermined by his defense when Adam Rosales reaches on an error by second baseman Elliot Johnson. That’s the Rays fourth error of the game.

They have more errors than runs.

Then Rosales steals second.

Wait.

Reds batter Craig Tatum is called out for interfering with Mike DiFelice as he tried to throw down to second. Rosales is told to return to first.

Dusty Baker pops out of the dugout for a chat with home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi and leaves somewhat disappointed.

Talbot walks a batter, but gets a force out to end the inning.

It's still 6-3 Reds.
