The Rays go down in order again in the second. They’ve hit just one ball out of the infield – Carlos Pena’s fly to left to end the first inning.

Hamels has two strikeouts – Elliot Johnson in the first and Dioner Navarro in the second.

Meanwhile, Garza settled down and retired the Phillies in order in the second. He caught Geoff Jenkins looking and got Pedro Feliz and Chris Coste both to bounce out.
