Word from Dunedin is the Yankees and Jays are in a rain delay.
Word here from Al Lang is this game seems to be heading down that road, too.
It’s now raining in the bottom of the fourth. Not too hard, but hard enough to send the fans to the seats covered by the stadium’s roof.
A rouge gang of seagulls are circling low along the outfield grass. Three have landed in center field.
Longoria strikes out swinging to end the inning.
The rain picks up.
Coincidence?
Both bullpens empty as the relief pitchers head for drier ground.
