Top of the 8th

The Rays perfect day on the basepaths is halted when Pirate catcher Raul Chavez guns out Jon Weber trying to swipe third.

Tampa Bay is 3-for-4 on the bases today, and you wonder if the Rays will be that aggressive come the regular season.

Well, they probably won't be THAT aggressive. But the Rays can run. So why not cut 'em loose and make some things happen?

Pirate hurler Jaret Wright throws a shutout inning, keeping the Pirates' deficit to 7-1.
