Phillies turn to leave bases loaded

Maybe that pitch that caught Snelling on the foot wasn’t a purpose pitch at all, and just a badly located fastball, because Jackson just hit Jenkins with the same pitch.

It was Jackson’s final pitch of a very strong outing.

It loaded the bases with two out in the sixth and brought Al Reyes in from the bullpen.

Jackson got the first two outs in the inning, but allowed a single to Snelling and walked Ryan Howard before drilling Jenkins.

Reyes came on and got Feliz to foul out behind home plate.

Phillies still lead 1-0.
